Yealink IP Phones

CONNECTING TO THE LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN) AND POWER

1. Connecting to the Internet.
   
   1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet jack on the phone.
   2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Internal Computer Network.
2. Connecting to Power.
   
   1. You have two options for powering the phones.
      
      1. The IP phone should be used with Yealink original power adapter (5V/600mA) only.
      2. The use of the third-party power adapter may cause the damage to the phone.
   2. If inline power (PoE) is provided, you do not need to connect the power adapter.
      
      1. Make sure the switch is PoE-compliant.
3. Connecting a PC to your phone.
   
   1. It is recommend that you use the Ethernet cable provided by Yealink.
      
      1. P series phones utilize a 10/100 connection.
      2. G & S series phones utilize a gigbit connection.
4. Consult your IT / Network Professional if required.

PHONE STATUS

1. To view the phone status via phone user interface.
   
   1. Press “OK” button for 1 second.
      
      1. or press Menu->Status.
   2. Press “up” or “Down” arrows or to scroll through the list and view information.
2. The Phone Status will appear on the Screen.
   1. IP or IPv4 IP:
      
      1. The Phones IP Address on the Network.
         
         1. IP address shows 0.0.0.0
         2. Verify all connections to the Network.
   2. MAC:
      
      1. The Phones MAC address.
   3. Firmware
      
      1. The Phones Firmware Version.
   4. More…
      • This option is not available on every model or firmware version.

      1. Detailed Status Information.
         • Press the “Enter” key to access more information.
         1. Network.
         2. Phone.
         3. Accounts.
